 CRB Journey


Working on our Community-Based Research (CBR) project taught us the importance of teamwork, trust, and engagement. Choosing a topic was challenging at first, but through observations and interviews, we identified an issue impacting many residents. Finding participants was harder than we expected, some were hesitant to share, while others questioned the potential impact of our research.

In this photos, we are preparing our questionnaires to start the survey. And in the other picture, we are on our way to barangay hall to interview some barangay officials.

In the first picture, we are asking permission to interview and survey the barangay officials. In the second picture, we are going to Abelan.







On February 3, 2025, we proudly presented our research on Abel Iloco in the ICT room, sharing its rich history and cultural significance with passion and pride. This journey was more than a presentation—it was a lesson in teamwork, learning, and heritage. Each step, from research to delivery, deepened our connection to our culture and brought us closer as a team.

 MY 3RD QUARTER JOURNEY As the third quarter ends, I reflect on what I have learned. I improved my time management, asked for help when needed, and developed better study habits. I also realized the importance of perseverance and self-discipline in handling difficult subjects. Despite this, I faced challenges, especially in balancing schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and personal responsibilities. Some subjects were harder, making it difficult to keep up with lessons and deadlines. To overcome these, I created a study schedule, set priorities, and asked for help from teachers and classmates. Taking short breaks and practicing self-care kept me motivated. Moving forward, I will stay organized, improve my study habits, and face challenges with a positive attitude. With determination, I know I can achieve my goals in the next quarter.

Things Represents Me

 I'm Julianne Arcena Realin, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Realin. I have a sister who I always tease when I'm bored. Her name is Jamelle Frances Realin, she is a college teacher in UNP. I am 15 years old, born on july 21, 2009. A 10th grade student in Ilocos sur National Highschool. I live in camangaan Vigan City. I am a crocheter who crochet keychains and other projects. I'm extrovert when I'm with my circle of friends. I'm introvert when I'm with people I just met. A crafty person that DIY's things like flowers made out of ribbon and papers. I love staying up all night that makes me wake up late and misses my chores. My future plans is to graduate in college, and become engineer, electrical engineer to be exact. I also want to be financially stable where I don't have to worry about where I will find money to pay bills. In senior high school, I'm planing to take STEM as my senior high strand.

Reflection on 2nd quarter

  During the second quarter, I have significantly expanded my understanding of coding and HTML formatting tags. I learned how to structure a webpage effectively using basic tags such as <html>, <head>, <body>, and <div>. I also discovered the importance of semantic tags like <header>, <footer>, and <article> in improving accessibility and readability. Additionally, I explored styling HTML with inline and external CSS and mastered the use of attributes, such as id and class, for better layout management. One major challenge was debugging errors when the page did not render as expected. Misplaced or forgotten closing tags, incorrect nesting of elements, and unfamiliarity with certain attributes caused frustration. Understanding how CSS interacts with HTML also posed difficulty, especially when dealing with complex layouts or conflicting styles.
